Hi, I'm Elisabeth

I design clear, engaging learning experiences that simplify complex concepts and inspire meaningful behavior change.

Featured Project

A scenario-driven e-learning experience created to enhance employee engagement.

This concept project was developed to educate managers on how to cultivate a positive culture of employee engagement and recognition.

Job Aid

People managers who need support to lead engaging, trust-building one-on-one conversations.

Audience - People managers who need support to lead engaging, trust-building one-on-one conversations.

Problem - They’re unsure how to address performance issues in a way that builds trust and accountability. As a result, employee morale is slipping, engagement is low, and turnover is on the rise.

Goal - To increase the quality and consistency of feedback across teams by offering phrase suggestions grounded in coaching best practices.

My Role - Designed and developed the job aid based on leadership training content. (See Featured Project)

Tools/Methods - I brainstormed some design ideas using Canva's Magic Studio (AI). After selecting the best fit for the purpose, I created the document from scratch in Canva.

Outcome - Leaders use the guide to model consistent, constructive communication, leading to improved team dynamics.

Custom GPT

A GPT model specifically designed to be a help professionals study for the BCBA certification exam

Audience - Aspiring Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) preparing for their certification exam

Problem - Traditional study tools often lack interactivity and fail to adapt to learners’ needs

Goal - The GPT’s goal is to bring structure, variety, and fun to BCBA exam prep through conversational guidance, gamified learning, and curated content

My Role - Designed, developed, and refined a custom GPT to support BCBA exam prep through tutoring, gamification, and multimedia integration

Tools/Methods - Using Open AI's Chat GPT, I customized a GPT for my goal. I used comprehensive, pre-made learning documents from which the GPT model could reference and derive valid information. Then, I created default prompts and gave the model specific directives about how to interact with learners, which includes playing study games with learners.

Outcome - Learners benefit from multiple modes of engagement, which supports different learning styles and promotes deeper understanding.

Other Applications - A custom GPT can be created for integration into other programs, such as Storyline, to create more dynamic learning experiences.

Clean Presentations

A training for paraprofessionals supporting student behavior using effective plans and data tools

Audience - Paraprofessionals working with diverse students in a school district

Problem - Inconsistencies in the application of behavior plans and the collection of data across the district led to student performance/behavioral issues and increased support needs for staff.

Goal - To train classroom staff on the implementation of student behavior intervention plans and common methods/tools to use for data collection.

My Role - Designed and developed the presentation, activities, and handouts for the training of approximately 100+ staff members. Facilitated the training event along with two other team members.

Methods - After my team and I conducted an analysis of staff needs across the district via interviews and direct observation, I designed and developed this presentation using Google Slides, Google Forms (for feedback), and Google Docs (for handouts). I incorporated elements from Gagne's 9 events to ensure best practices for adult learning. Various forms of media were included as well as hands on activities so learners could practice the skills.

Lastly, I provided a feedback form for the audience to provide data for an analysis of the effectiveness of the training.

Outcome - Paraprofessionals got access to important information most did not previously have. Thereafter, they were better equipped to effectively manage, and track student behavior needs. This led to a decrease in staff-student altercations, decrease need for supplemental staffing, and improved student outcomes.
